More4Business Limited is a credit broker, not a lender.

We offer a non-advised service and primarily arrange commercial finance for businesses.

Not all products or services that we introduce or arrange are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

4. Our Service

More4Business is a commercial finance broker.

Our role is to help businesses identify and access potentially suitable finance products from lenders and finance providers with whom we work.

Depending upon your circumstances and the product concerned, our services may include:

• discussing your business and funding requirements;
• collecting information about you and your business;
• reviewing information and documentation you provide;
• identifying potentially appropriate finance providers;
• introducing you to lenders or finance providers;
• submitting or assisting with finance applications;
• communicating with lenders in connection with your application;
• obtaining and presenting indicative or formal finance offers; and
• assisting with the application process through to completion or drawdown.

We do not guarantee that finance will be available or that an application will be approved.

5. We Are a Broker, Not a Lender

More4Business does not itself provide the finance advertised or introduced through our commercial finance brokerage service.

Any finance agreement will normally be entered into directly between you and the relevant lender or finance provider.

The lender is responsible for making its own assessment of your application and deciding:

• whether to offer finance;
• how much finance to offer;
• the applicable interest rate or other cost of finance;
• the repayment period;
• whether security or a personal guarantee is required; and
• any other conditions applying to the facility.

More4Business does not control the lender's final decision.

A lender may decline an application, amend an offer or withdraw an offer in accordance with its own policies and terms.

6. Our Lender Panel

We work with a panel of banks, lenders and alternative finance providers.

We do not represent every lender or finance product available in the UK market and our service should not be regarded as a comparison of the whole market.

The lenders or products considered for an individual enquiry will depend upon factors including your requirements, circumstances, eligibility and the information available to us.

The availability of lenders and products may change from time to time.

7. Non-Advised Service

Unless we expressly tell you otherwise, our service is provided on a non-advised basis.

We may provide information about finance products, lenders, potential options and their features to help you understand the choices available through us.

However, you remain responsible for deciding whether a particular finance product is appropriate for your business and circumstances.

You should consider the terms, costs, risks and obligations of any finance agreement carefully before entering into it and obtain independent professional advice where you consider this appropriate.

8. No Broker Fees

Unless we specifically agree otherwise with you in writing before providing a service, More4Business does not charge the customer a broker fee for arranging business finance.

We are normally remunerated by the lender or finance provider where finance is successfully arranged.

9. Commission

More4Business may receive a commission or other remuneration from a lender or finance provider when we successfully introduce or arrange finance.

The amount and basis of commission can vary depending upon the lender, finance product and amount of finance arranged.

The existence of commission does not increase the amount you borrow unless this is specifically stated in the terms of the relevant finance agreement.

Where applicable, further information concerning our commission arrangements can be provided upon request and will be disclosed where required by applicable law or regulation.

10. Quotes, Rates and Illustrations

Any interest rates, repayment amounts, borrowing amounts, terms, approval times, examples or other finance information displayed on our website, advertisements or marketing communications are illustrative or indicative unless expressly stated otherwise.

They do not constitute a guaranteed offer of finance.

The actual amount, rate, term and other conditions offered will depend upon the lender's assessment of factors which may include:

• the financial position of the business;
• turnover and profitability;
• trading history;
• business and personal credit profiles;
• existing borrowing;
• the purpose of the finance;
• affordability;
• security or personal guarantees where applicable; and
• the lender's own credit and underwriting criteria.

All finance is subject to application, status, eligibility and lender approval.

11. Eligibility

Submitting an enquiry or application through More4Business does not guarantee eligibility for finance.

Different lenders and finance products have different eligibility requirements.

We may determine that an enquiry falls outside the criteria of the lenders or products available through us.

Where this happens, we are under no obligation to submit an application to a lender or continue processing an enquiry.

12. Information You Provide

You agree that information you provide to More4Business will, to the best of your knowledge, be accurate, complete and not misleading.

You should inform us if relevant information changes during an application.

The information provided may be relied upon by More4Business, lenders and other finance providers when assessing your requirements or application.

Providing inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information may result in an application being delayed, declined or an offer being withdrawn.

In some circumstances, intentionally providing false or misleading information may constitute fraud.

13. Information About Other People

If you provide personal information about another person, such as another director, shareholder, partner or guarantor, you must have an appropriate basis for providing that information to us.

Where appropriate, you should make that person aware that their information is being provided to More4Business and direct them to our Privacy Policy.

14. Credit and Eligibility Checks

Lenders and finance providers may undertake checks when considering an application.

Depending upon the lender and product, these may include checks with:

• credit reference agencies;
• fraud prevention agencies;
• Companies House;
• publicly available databases;
• Open Banking providers; and
• other appropriate sources.

Some initial eligibility checks may use a soft credit search, which generally does not affect your credit score.

A lender may subsequently carry out a hard credit search as part of a full application or before providing finance.

Where a hard credit search may be required, this will be subject to the lender's processes and applicable requirements.

You should review the relevant lender's terms and privacy information for details of the checks it carries out.

15. Personal Guarantees and Security

Some business finance products may require a personal guarantee, security or other form of assurance.

Where a personal guarantee is required, the person providing it may become personally liable for amounts owed by the business if the business fails to meet its obligations.

You should carefully consider the implications of providing a personal guarantee and consider obtaining independent legal advice before doing so.

The specific requirements will be determined by the lender and will be explained in the relevant finance documentation.

16. Applications and Lender Terms

If you proceed with a finance offer, the agreement will be subject to the lender's own terms and conditions.

You should read all lender documentation carefully before entering into an agreement.

The lender's documentation will set out matters including:

• the amount of finance;
• interest rate or other cost of borrowing;
• repayments;
• duration;
• fees and charges;
• early repayment provisions;
• security or personal guarantee requirements;
• events of default; and
• other contractual obligations.

The lender's agreement is separate from these Website Terms and Conditions.

17. Online Applications and Third-Party Services

Parts of our website or application process may use technology or services provided by third parties.

In some circumstances, we may direct or introduce you to an online application journey operated by a lender or technology provider.

Where you leave the More4Business website or enter a third-party service, additional terms and privacy policies may apply.

We are not responsible for the content, availability or operation of third-party websites or systems that we do not control.

18. Open Banking

Where available, you may be offered the option to provide financial information using Open Banking.

Open Banking services may be provided by an appropriately authorised third-party provider.

You will be informed of the relevant provider and asked to provide the permissions required before your banking information is accessed.

19. Growth Guarantee Scheme and Other Government-Backed Schemes

Where we provide information about the Growth Guarantee Scheme ("GGS") or another government-supported finance scheme, eligibility remains subject to the applicable scheme rules and the participating lender's assessment.

The existence of a government guarantee does not mean that the borrower is protected from repayment.

Where applicable, the guarantee is provided to the lender. The borrower remains responsible for repayment of the finance in accordance with the relevant finance agreement.

References to government-backed finance do not constitute a guarantee that your business will qualify or that funding will be approved.

20. Website Information

We take reasonable care to ensure information displayed on our website is accurate and up to date.

However, finance products, lender criteria, interest rates, government schemes and other information can change.

We therefore cannot guarantee that all information displayed on the website will always be complete, accurate or current.

Nothing on our website constitutes financial, legal, tax or accounting advice unless expressly stated otherwise.

You should obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary.

21. Availability of the Website

We aim to keep our website available and operating correctly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

• a lender declining or withdrawing an application;
• changes made by a lender to an indicative offer;
• the commercial performance of a business following the provision of finance;
• information supplied by a third-party lender or provider;
• circumstances outside our reasonable control; or
• a user's failure to provide accurate or complete information.

Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you may have which cannot lawfully be excluded.

26. Data Protection and Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, who it may be shared with, how long it may be retained and your data-protection rights.

28. Late Repayment

Failure to maintain repayments under a finance agreement may have serious consequences for your business and, where a personal guarantee or security has been provided, potentially for the relevant guarantor or security provider.

You should contact the lender as soon as possible if you experience difficulty making repayments.

29. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to:

• our services;
• our lender panel or application processes;
• technology used on our website;
• applicable laws or regulations; or
• our regulatory requirements.

30. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
